The Background
This ambitious medium sized software company, with international offices, is currently seeking to recruit a Software Project Manager to lead on a wide range of software release projects within an international facing capacity. This exciting, change related position, will offer you the chance to work within a small global project management team, leading on a number of challenging transformation projects.
The Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of IT and working within a small, global project management team, you will take overall accountability for the delivery of key software release projects.
You will support the implementation of internal IT systems, ensuring that all projects are managed and delivered using robust and fully documented project management methodology.
You will work in line with domestic and international stakeholders, to ensure project objectives and timescales are delivered to time and on budget.
The Professional
As the successful candidate, you will be a proven Project Manager with experience of managing software release projects, ideally within an IT service delivery environment. You will ideally be PRINCE2 certified, or qualified within another project management methodology. You will be a strong communicator with a passion for driving key change initiatives, with the experience and guile to push back and negotiate with senior level stake holders.
This internationally facing position will require travel overseas to new offices.
