My client is a fast-growing software company located in the South East. Leading the field of new technology with their innovative approach and products, they promise a challenging and stimulating career. There is the opportunity for this role to be home based with little need to be in the office. You will be required to make your own appointments and initially you will be covering the UK, therefore candidates will need to be able to work on their own initiative and be self managing with ample sales experience from cold calling through to close. As you progress and the business develops further additional sales consultants will be recruited and regions will become more localised.
Experience in IT sales, especially with some experience of software sales will be a distinct advantage. Furthermore, the successful candidate should be able to travel, able to communicate at all levels and he/she should have good presentation skills. You will be selling to the Local Authority market for this role so previous experience of servicing this market is desired. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling software to the Local Authority market,
There is a basic salary of £35,000 plus £5K car allowance and an uncapped OTE of £70,000
