**REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGER / SYSTEMS INTERGRATION MANAGER** - BANKING / INFRASTRUCTURE
Key Responsibilities - Day to day management of a team of infrastructure project managers. This includes career and personal development, objective setting and appraisals - Management of bank-wide IT projects around IT infrastructure and service delivery, building and data centre fit-outs and relocations. Examples are upgrades of core technology (storage, unix, networks), data centre and dealing room projects, new office establishments and fit-outs - Strong project management skills - including resource planning, critical path analysis and milestone management and reporting - Development of high level budgets - through to detailed cost proposals and cost management through the project lifecycle
Our Requirements - Broad depth of experience IT industry - Extensive Investment Banking experienced required - Proven experience in Project delivery for medium - large projects - Experience of managing teams of project managers - Strong Project Manager who can take a project from concept through to plan through to execution - Experience of delivering projects in a matrix structure, working with virtual teams - Experience of negotiating with and managing vendors and 3rd party suppliers - Experience of running projects utilising remote teams / countries - Used to dealing with homogenous environments running multi-tier applications - Experience in infrastructure/network design with a good understanding of security implications - Proven track record of delivering applications / Infrastructure into production - including integration into the existing support environment - Understanding and awareness of ITIL Processes - Developed project management techniques of a team before, rather than just following company standards - Comprehensive change management and leadership skills in a pressurised environment - Excellent communication skills, as this person will be presenting, running workshops dealing with all levels within the bank, so they must be able to communicate effectively - The candidate would have previously worked in IT infrastructure and operations departments in both small and large (global) organisations - Focused on delivering results for customers, often under pressure - Strong influencing skills and the ability to negotiate conflicting requirements - Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes, consisting of infrastructure technology staff - Good documentation skills - Knowledge of the business environment - Broad technical knowledge is essential, covering all areas of Technology, including the following ; o Networking o Server hardware environment (Windows / Unix) o Storage technologies (NAS /SAN) o Market Data o Databases
Qualifications: � Degree Level education � Project management professional qualification (Prince2 or PMI) � ITIL Certification
