Linux System Administrator/DBA- Linux, Tomcat, LAMP, JAVA- Central London

In order to deliver on these plans they are looking to hire a system administrator for their Linux platform. Candidates will be able to use modern technologies with an opportunity to learn and apply a broad range of skills. This position is suitable for a system administrator with expert knowledge of Linux (Red Hat Enterprise and CentOS distributions).
You will be responsible for all Servers, on and off site. This includes all queries and faults, as well as setting up and supporting future environments. You will also be responsible for the MYSQL database administration. You should have strong knowledge of Tomcat and Java.

Essential Skills:
•Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise and CentOS)
•Excellent knowledge of database administration (MySQL)
•Excellent knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
•Strong Scripting experience
Highly Desirable Skills:
•Experience with Tomcat and Java
•MSc in related area an advantage
Personal Attributes:
•Strong verbal and written communications skills
•Hard working, with high energy, self-motivation and initiative
