Temporary – Mechanical Design Engineer Title: Mechanical Design engineer (AutoCAD 2000+) Location: Berkshire Duration: 3 months Rates: £18 – 23 per hour My client a leading supplier of systems and services within the specialist product industry are looking to recruit a Mechanical design engineer to join there busy design function. The main purpose of the role is to contribute to effective product designs and to ensure efficient handover of designs into full production. You will also be responsible for the drawing office network contents are maintained accurately. We are looking for candidates with experience of sheet metal design, design for manufacture and working within a product development environment. Knowledge of 19” rack systems and plastic moulding design would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities; Generate Cost-effective solutions, Modifications and additions to existing designs, Generate production quality drawings and part lists on the companies CAD systems.
