Role: PHP Developer Company: Full service online agency Location: South Cheshire Salary: £16-22K depending on experience Due to growth and expansion work, this company based inSouth Cheshire require a budding in-house PHP Web Developer with previous experience in designing and developing commercial websites using PHP / MySQL, HTML and CSS. The Ideal candidate will have experience using PHP4/5 and MySQL to code and develop from scratch bespoke content management systems (CMS) and websites for the company clients' commercial use. In addition to PHP / MySQL, candidates should have some experience with design tools such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and creative suites. The main purpose of this role is to design and develop from conception, full working websites of varying budgets, typically £2-20K, for the company clients to use on a business operational level making the sites highly functional and of professional design. Additional requirements may be expected of the candidate i.e. to continually develop the company's own and associated websites. The ideal candidate would need to be well disciplined, of mature personality and have prior experience of working to such autonomy as this role will require the candidate to take a consultative approach to each project. Any experience of web design would be highly beneficial; otherwise a keen eye for design and what looks good is a must. Experience in SEO and PPC would also be distinctly advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for a freelancer to gain a foot in the commercial door, or for an established and hardworking individual to show off their skills. This role would suit a graduate whiz kid with excellent work ethic. An online portfolio or list of website examples would be highly beneficial to your application, otherwise examples of code on request would be needed, as well as the ability to explain your work effectively.
