Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Warehousing Consultant is required by our client, an international software house specialising in the development and supply of cutting edge BI and DW solutions.
To be considered for this challenging role you will have an established background in designing and delivering Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects that includes experience of developing data models, especially dimensional modelling, for data warehouses or data marts. Skills with leading BI tools such as Cognos, Business Objects or similar would be an advantage
This should be complemented with recent hands-on experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools or ETL tools and strong hands-on knowledge in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2) with proficiency in SQL.
In addition to hands on skills, you will be able to demonstrate technical leadership on projects and be knowledgeable on current trends in Data Warehouse and business analytics technologies. Naturally, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally a Bachelors degree, preferably in computer science or business and be willing to travel 80% of the time
