My client is looking for a Application Packaging and deployment Analyst.

This is working for an end user based in the Manchester area, this role has no travel and is a fantastic opportunity to work for a fantastic client, and is looking for a strong IT consultant.

My client is looking for an Analyst who will be responsible for carrying out operational functions relating to the application packaging and deployment for my client. You will be working with activities relating to the discovery, packaging, test, and deployment of each application and variant.
Preferably you will have experience in:

Application, packaging and deployment for a standardised and 'locked down' environment.
Use WISE and ORCA tools for application Packaging.
Use of Marimba software Distribution tool.
Working knowledge of Active Directory.
VB Scripting
Detailed knowledge of Windows XP and 2000.
Working knowledge of the windows registry.
Working knowledge of a wide range of applications including complex engineering suites.

Experience in the following is advantageous:

InfraEnterprise service management tool
Awareness of FAST standard for software compliance
Awareness of ITIL framework.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
