Job Title: LAMP Developer Client: Digital Web Agency Location: Central Manchester Salary: £24-28K Depending on experience Due to a staff leaver, continuous growth, expansion and acquiring of project work, this digital web agency based in the city centre of Manchester require a midline LAMP Developer with experience in a LAMP ( Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP ) environment. Ideally you will have commercial experience working with PHP5 OOP , MYSQL, content management systems ( off the shelf and bespoke systems ) and know Apache and Linux like the back of your hand. Any extra experience or knowledge of Perl Scripting would be highly beneficial as would experience of working in an agency environment across multiple projects. This role is largely focused towards programming however candidates would need some experience of Linux network administration. His client have a strong presence across Leisure and Media clients, so it goes without says that any experience in these sectors would be beneficial to your application however this is not essential. Any further experience or appreciation of web design i.e. XHTML, CSS, Javascript and Flash would be a great bonus but again not essential for this role. The role will be working within the clients technical team of three.
