Title: Mechanical Project Engineer Duration: 6 months + Rates: £28-£30 per hour Location: South Wales We have an urgent requirement for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work for a major engineering firm operating in the fine chemical and petrochemical industries. With a proven background in either of these areas you will be reponsible for the following: - Tender docs & reports - Budgetary control - Design / Specification / Procurement - Subcontractor sourcing & management - Client relationship management - Maintenance and improvement specs - Project management - Design assessments and amendments An engineer by trade, you will be primarily office based but will be required to tackle hands on problems if required. Working with a dedicated project team you will be responsible to the project manager but will have a great deal of autonomy when it comes to overseeing the inhouse design team.
