Senior Software Developer / Analyst Programmer- C#/ASP.NET/SQL /OOP/UML - Birmingham, Solihull, Aston, Smethwick

Our client is a pioneering industry leading blue chip organisation providing a diverse innovative suite of software solutions to a variety of sectors such as retail, finance, healthcare, and the automotive industry. They are urgently looking to add a talented and experienced C#/ASP.NET Senior Software Developer to their expanding team.

The successful C#/ASP.NET Senior Software Developer will have strong commercial exposure developing enterprise software applications using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2000/2005 database skills. An understanding of UML design methodology and Object Oriented Programming are essential skills as is previous experience developing applications in an N-Tier architecture structure. Full software dvelopment lifecycle experience is also required.

You will work principally on a fresh Greenfield e-commerce project that is on the .NET 3.5 framework. Previous exposure to the .NET 3.5 framework and Visual Studio 2008 is not strictly essential but any awareness or exposure would be highly advantageous. Additionally you will be required to work on the migration of one of their key core products from .NET 2.0 to .NET 3.5.
