Cisco Technical Architect - Cirencester - £35,000 - £40,000 package + car. I am looking to recruit a technical architct to join a growing pre-sales group that is responsible for architecting and configuring solutions. The ideal candidate will have very good customer facing skills and have a consultative approach to work. The candidate must have the ability to identify and qualify customer requirements, design and document network infrastructure, articulate the solutions benefits, work as part of a team and have a professional telephone manner. A flexible approach to working hours is required as you will be required to travel throuighout the UK. The role will primarily revolve around providing technical and product knowledge to aid the sales team in closing sales. You will also be attending customer meetings when required to discuss technology, solutions and options available. The experience I am looking for is: solid technical pre-sales background supported by hands on experience. Experience with Cisco technology is essential (ie LAN and WAN infrastructure, Firewall/VPN/Security, Wireless, Unified communications) Experience in client facing situations. Cisco WAAS or storage experience would also be advantageous.
