Role Description
This UK FTSE 100 company requires a new leader to manage the SAP HR support team. The company continuously strives for significant increased benefit from its SAP systems and as the leader of a key process delivery team you will play an important role in the achievement of these goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage a team of between 4 to 6 permanent HR/payroll functional specialists who are responsible for both 3rd level production maintenance support and all new functional development of the SAP HR/Payroll modules.
•Report directly to the CIO of Group Information Systems
•Play an active role in all new HR and payroll process design, capture business requirements and convert these to functional specifications.
•Support PA, OM and PY with probable inclusion of PD in the near future. Country payrolls for UK, Ireland and India are supported by this team.
Key Skills Requirements
•Proven technical knowledge of the SAP modules supported by the team in order to provide leadership and guidance to the other team members.
•Excellent client facing skills for interfacing with key stakeholders within the business including the Group HR managers and off-shored HR/Payroll service providers.
•Excellent team building ands relationship skills to foster good team spirit and long-term retention of key skills within the team.
•Business requirement assessment and specification skills
•Business process mapping skills
