Outline Role Description
This UK FTSE 100 company requires an excellent SAP Payroll support consultant to join their existing SAP HR/PY support team. While the company has a strong and stable SAP payroll system which is well maintained, it continually undertakes ambitious business process improvement projects in which all members of the HR/PY play an active role. The company also experiences strong and consistent growth and frequently adds thousands of new employees to the HR/payroll system.
Key Responsibilities
•Report to the head of the SAP HR/PY support and join a committed team of 4 – 6 HR/PY configuration specialists supporting the PA, OM, PD, and travel modules.
•Provide 3rd level production maintenance support for the payroll systems (UK, Ireland and India country payrolls)
•Play an active role in all new HR and payroll process design, capture business requirements and convert these to functional specifications.
•Support PA, OM and PY with probable inclusion of PD in the near future. Country payrolls for UK, Ireland and India are supported by this team.
Key Skills Requirements
•Proven technical knowledge of the payroll configuration including the ability to modify all schema's and rules for both payroll and time.
•Excellent knowledge of sound payroll execution procedure.
•Experience in the configuration and support of travel and expense modules
•Good problem analysis skills for rapid assessment of issues and potential solutions
•Ability to capture and document both new business requirements and the functional design to deliver their solutions
