SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER BASED NORTH SURREY/SOUTH LONDON, M25 BORDERS REGION.
My prestigious global client based in North Surrey is currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer.
You will be required to take the technical lead in the development of new telecoms application built around a service orientated architecture.
You will have a solid, experienced background in Software engineering.
Key skills used would be : C++, C#, .Net Framework 3.5, SOA, Web Services, WCF, XML/XSL.
It would be beneficial for you to have domain experience in; Telecoms, GSM/UMTS, PDH/SDH/ATM/IP.
You will possess strong programming and technical skills and be capable of proactively working on a project to produce high quality, maintainable software.
You will be capable of working effectively with a team but also be capable of working on your own.You will be capable of providing a range of experience and sound advice to the project and team.
Key Skills;
Exp of .Net Framework 3.5, C#, SOA
Knowledge of WPF, WCF.
Knowledge of XML and related technologies.
Knowledge of SQL.
Exp of Agile Development.
Exp of analysing and specifying technical requirements.
Exp of working with a variety of different sizes of software project.
Strong technical ability using a variety of technologies.
Capable of identifying areas for improvement of existing software.
Capable of creating detailed design specifications.
Exp of leading software projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Capable of multitasking and handling load under pressure.
Capable of estimating tasks.
