Bid Manager – Isle of Man – 40k
A software company with expertise in browser-based business systems requires a Bid Manager. In this busy and important role you will be working as part of the sales and bid management team creating and co-ordinating the dispatch of consistent and high quality tender responses for Private Sector, UK and Local Government contracts in a timely manner.
Working closely with our commercial and technical teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that all information presented to the customer is of the highest quality. With support from our Bid Director, you will also be responsible for areas including: identifying & distributing bid opportunities, the updating of general information used for bids/tenders, creation of tender responses, contract negotiation processes and liaising with business partners, where appropriate. You will have first rate verbal and written communication skills and be able to produce concisely written, innovative and well presented proposals and presentations.
Working in an ambitious and growing company it is essential that you have enthusiasm, flexibility and a ‘can do' attitude. Working on bids and responding efficiently to evolving client needs, creates a demanding and dynamic environment and as deadlines approach, there are can be significant time pressures, so flexibility and a positive attitude are also important.
