Position: Oracle e-Business – Developers, Administrators & Consultants Salary: £25-45,000 Location: Rochester, Kent, Gillingham, Gravesend, Basildon, Maidstone, Southend 

You’ll be joining a household name in hi-tech electronics design and manufacturing for the defence and aerospace markets; the company is focused on maintaining its position as the global leader in innovative and ground breaking developments for both commercial and military applications and is prepared to invest heavily in the training and development of its staff to maintain this position The decision to implement Oracle e-Business (V11.5.2) across a number of sites worldwide had led to several positions for Oracle specialists from Applications Developers to DBA’s and Functional Consultants being required to ensure the smooth transition to this new platform. You’ll also get the opportunity to travel to other sites across the UK and US in the pursuit of a successful implementation. It’s essential that you have previous experience working key Oracle Modules including Inventory, Procurement, Finance, Service Quality, Project Contracts and Manufacturing. As a developer, you’ll be working with Forms & Reports 6i to develop Workflow, Discoverer, Warehouse Builder, APEX and especially NOETIX with strong SQL and XML skills. As one of a team of DBA’s your responsibilities will be to support and administer the e-Business platform and fulfil general DBA tasks including updates, patches, performance tuning, testing, back-ups & disaster management. There will also be a need to support a number of SQL Server DBs with the chance to cross-train to SQL Server if need be. As one of the Functional Consultants you would be taking a lead role in the e-Business Implentation analysing the business and IT structures and delivering business requirements to meet the Functional Group and Business needs within expected quality, budget and timescales This is a great chance to play a major part in the roll out of an important IT implementation project across a multi-national business giving you the experience and training to accelerate your career to the next level.
