Security Manager - Security Consultant - Security Officer - Security Analyst required for this FTSE 100 service provider based in Craigforth. The role of the Security Manager will be a client facing role which will require the post holder to provide the expertise and practical assistance for security risk analysis, the implementation of effective security controls and promote security awareness in line with the appropriate security polices.
Essential Experience/Skills Experience of IT Security & IT Risk Management Services. Detailed knowledge of security strategy, policies and standards together with a sound understanding of IT Security technologies, such as firewalls, anti-virus solutions, patch management and network security principles. Effective communication skills and experience of dealing with. Comprehensive knowledge of IT and information security subject matter e.g. industry initiatives such as ISO 27001 & ISO 17799 and regulations such as the Data Protection Act, Computer Misuse Act & the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act. Experience of IT security audit requirements and managing audit actions.
Desired Experience/Skills Experience in the development of security policies in line with industry standards. Experience in provision of employee education, security audit function and participation in client-facing activities for security matters.. Experience of working within the financial services industry, Knowledge of how information security integrates into the defined ITIL service management processes. CISSP or other industry recognised security qualification Experience of IT DR/BC Management
