Lotus Notes Administrator required. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Lotus Notes/Domino background, and will be certified in ND 6/7 with experience of ND8. You will possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills, and strong documentation skills, particularly with regards to Report Writing. You will have strong IT knowledge and previous Service Desk experience, and will be capable of explaining technical concepts in an understandable manner to all levels of audience. Also required is an understanding of backups and restoration, Operating Systems, ODBC, network and hardware fundamentals. Experience of Domino Clustering, working with partitioned servers, virtual servers and Domino via the web will be extremely advantageous, as will experience of leading projects, utilising and administering Document Manager, and basic development skills. Experience of Web Services/HTML/Java/Java Servlets/SOAP and J2EE is preferred, as is previous experience of administering Sametime and Blackberry. Any experience of using third party products utilised within my client's Domino Administration Architecture such as Teamstudio's Build Manager, Mail Marshall or Axceler's Notrix would be beneficial! Reporting to the Domino Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the support of my client's Lotus Domino environment, paying particular attention to the maintenance of databases in their live and test environments. You will monitor all systems including Mail and Application Servers to ensure optimum performance for business critical applications and will proactively manage all scheduled maintenance. The role will also encompass the provision of support to projects and the service desk with a focus on cross-department working, building relationships with Domino Developers and other support functions. You will provide support not only to my client, but also to their corporate partners. My client provides further on the job training, and the potential to work towards IBM Certification. You should have a flexible approach to working hours, which may include weekends and evening work.
